We process your data when you visit our website or one of our stores.
3.1 Usage of our website, without signing up for services
It is possible to use our website without our collection of your data. Coster Copenhagen processes the following information when you sign up as a member on our website:

- Information on placed orders
- Other information that you provide to us
The purpose of the processing is:
- Providing an interface with an overview of placed orders
- Providing an efficient buying process

- We process your data because of our legitimate interest in providing and administrating your member profile (Article6(1)(f) GDPR.
By signing up as a “member”, we do not share your data with third parties, but we might engage third parties to support our platform (data processors). If you purchase at our website as a “member”, we share your data as described above in section 3.2.1.
3.2.3 Newsletter and contact
Coster Copenhagen processes the following information when you sign up for our newsletter or contact us.

The purpose of the processing is:

Legal basis:
- After obtaining your consent on receiving newsletters, we process your data because of our legitimate interest in sending the newsletter (Article6(1)(f) GDPR).
- If you contact us, we process your data because of our legitimate interest in replying to your inquiry (Article6(1)() GPR).
We do not share your data with third parties, but we might engage suppliers, such as hosting companies and providers of newsletter services (data processors).
4. Data processors and transfer of personal data to third countries
Your data can be shared with vendors, suppliers or other third parties, processing data on behalf of Coster Copenhagen (data processors). When engaging such data processors, Coster Copenhagen signs data processing agreements obliging data processors to confidentiality and only to process personal data as instructed by Coster Copenhagen for the purposes described in this personal data policy. We only use data processors providing sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in such a manner that processing will meet the requirements of the relevant data protection laws.
To provide a better buying experience, we use Shopify that mainly process personal data within the EEA. However, Shopify might transfer personal data to Canada, which is approved by the EU Commission as a country providing an adequate level of data protection, since Shopify is subject to the Canadian data protection legislation (PIPED ACT).
5. Retention periods
We delete your data when it is no longer necessary for us to retain it for the specified purposes in this personal data policy.
We store some types of information for longer if we are obliged by law to do so, e.g., to comply with bookkeeping obligations (5 years).
We delete inactive member profiles after one year’s inactivity. Before deletion, we will provide the user with a notice.
6. Your rights
You have the right to ask us to confirm if we are processing your data and to ask for access to your data. If we process data about you that is incorrect, you have the right to ask us to correct your information. You also have the right to ask us to delete your information or restrict how we process your information and to object to our processing of your information. Further, you have the right to data portability.
If we process your data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
