These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of goods on www.costercopenhagen.com for delivery worldwide.

If you wish to place an order for delivery to Denmark, Sweden, Germany, or the Netherlands, we recommend visiting the relevant local website in order to receive the most appropriate terms and conditions.

1. Orders and Payment

The website www.costercopenhagen.com is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, the online store may occasionally be closed for maintenance. Purchases can only be made when the store is open and accessible.

To shop on www.costercopenhagen.com, you must be 18 years old and possess a valid payment card that we accept. If you are under 18 years old, you may only purchase items with the consent of a parent or legal guardian or if you otherwise have the legal right to enter into the purchase.

You select the items you wish to buy and place them in the shopping cart. Until you place your order, you may edit the contents of your cart and review the items and prices. Any additional charges, such as shipping or payment fees, will be calculated during checkout.

When you are ready to place your order, click “Go to checkout”, where you will be asked to enter your name, address, email, telephone number, payment method, and delivery method.

You may change the contents of the shopping cart until you confirm your purchase by clicking the “Order and Pay” button.

The purchase amount will be deducted from your account once the order has been shipped.

2. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order.

A binding purchase agreement is only concluded once you have received an order confirmation from us.

3. Shipping Terms

We use insured parcel services, and you will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped.

We currently do not offer shipping to the United States, Canada, or Russia.

We reserve the right to cancel orders if shipping costs to remote areas exceed a reasonable amount.

Please note that uncollected packages will be treated as returns, and the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

4. Non-EU Customers

All prices include Danish VAT.

If you are a customer located outside the EU, Danish VAT will automatically be deducted during checkout once you select your country.

Please note that local import charges such as customs duties, taxes, or handling fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

When shopping online at www.costercopenhagen.com, you have 14 days to cancel your order.

The cancellation period begins on the day you receive the goods.

If multiple items are ordered in the same order but delivered separately, or if a product is delivered in several shipments, the cancellation period begins when the last item is received.

After receiving the goods, they should only be handled to the extent necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

6. Returns & Exchange

We offer a 14-day return period from the date you receive the item.

Returned goods must be in their original condition, including:

  • tags

  • price labels

  • original packaging

Processing your return may take up to 14 days from the date we receive the package.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, you can purchase a return label for €20 through our return portal.

We do not accept parcels sent COD (Cash on Delivery).

EXCHANGE OF ITEMS

If you wish to exchange your item, you can easily do so via our return and exchange portal. Here you have the option to change the size or choose a completely different item from the webshop.

When making an exchange, you save the shipping cost for the new item. Only the return fee for the item you send back will be charged. The amount will be deducted from your refund.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned goods, we will refund the purchase amount including original shipping costs.

Refunds are always issued through the same payment method used for the original purchase.

8. Depreciation of Goods

You may receive only a partial refund or no refund if the product’s value has decreased due to:

  • use of the item

  • damage caused while the item was in your possession

  • handling beyond what is necessary to determine the product’s nature and function

  • violation of hygiene seals or product restrictions

9. Complaints (Defective Products)

Your purchase is covered by the Sale of Goods Act, which provides a 24-month warranty for defective products.

Depending on the situation, you may be entitled to:

  • repair

  • replacement

  • refund

  • price reduction

Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time, preferably within two months after discovering the defect.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund reasonable shipping costs.

If the complaint is not justified, the customer must cover all shipping costs.

10. Privacy

To place an order on www.costercopenhagen.com, you must provide the following information:

  • Address

  • Email

  • Telephone number

These data are stored for 5 years in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act (§10), after which they are deleted.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All purchases made on www.costercopenhagen.com are governed by Danish law.

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by the Danish courts.
